1. What this covers
This policy explains what the ChipStack browser extension does with information when you use it. ChipStack is a play-money game and is designed to collect as little as possible.
2. Stored on your device
Your gameplay state — chip balance, game progress, equipped title and cosmetic, spin-wheel timer, and bonus timers — is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This stays on your computer and is not sent to us, except as part of your public leaderboard entry described below.
3. Stored online (the leaderboard)
To power the global leaderboard, ChipStack saves a small record to a hosted database (Supabase). That record contains only:
- The username you choose.
- Your current chip score.
- Your equipped title and cosmetic (for display).
- A last-seen timestamp, used to show how many players are online.
We do not collect your name, email, IP address, location, contacts, browsing history, or any payment information. Please don't put personal information in your username, since the leaderboard is public.
4. How it's used
This information is used only to display the leaderboard, the live online count, and your name tag in-game. It is not used for advertising or profiling, and it is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
5. No tracking or analytics
ChipStack contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. It does not follow you around the web. The extension only contacts its own leaderboard database; it does not read the pages you visit.
6. Service provider
The leaderboard database is hosted by Supabase, which processes and stores the leaderboard record on our behalf. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These providers may receive standard technical request data (such as an IP address) needed to deliver the response; ChipStack does not send them your gameplay data beyond what is described above.
7. Children
ChipStack is a casino-themed game intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Your choices & removal
You can stop sharing data at any time by uninstalling the extension. To remove your leaderboard entry, change your username or email us at the address below and we'll delete the record. Clearing the extension's storage resets your local progress.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
